Sorry but it does work that way just because you do not want to see it does not mean it not there.
I you take the time to look at Ch 2 you will see that after God created man. He planted a Garden. The all the other stuff that you mistake for a second creation story happen in it. God planted trees etc. No where in the context of the story does it ever say otherwise.

As for the son not being in the Old Testament you, need to read you Bible.

As you can see in Is 9:6 a Child who is a son is born and He is the mighty God, everlasting Father. The are other ref. to the Son in the Old Testament.

I would recommend you do your research yourself and not cut and past from an atheist site.


Is 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
