Water Clerk. The City of Elmendorf  has an opening for a fulltime Water Clerk. Preferred candidates should have good organizational skills and perform routine clerical duties, need to possess good communication skills in dealing with the general public. Duties include receptionist functions, water department billing, processing payments and reconciling daily receipts.  Starting pay is $13.50 per hour. High School diploma or equivalent and drug screening is required. Computer experience, cashier experience and bilingual ability is a plus. I realize that a lot, if not most, politicians lie and cheat. This president just happens to be better at it than most. Practice makes perfect. If you are not well versed in constitutional understanding and original intent and think that huge debt means nothing, like unfettered growth of government and regulation, then you may think this Country is no worse off than when Obama took office. Indeed worse off through the administrations of the last few presidents, Democrats and Republicans. When do we stand up and demand a return to conservative economic policies? When do we stand against wasteful spending? When do we demand a government that follows the rule of law? When do we stand for moral values? Certainly we have gotten none of these things from the four years of the Obama administration. Is Romney perfect. We all know he is not. But honestly, do you think Obama is a better choice for Our Country for the next four years?
