Carter Thomas. I have no personal interest in the city
of Floresville and fully believe that they deserve what
they voted for in past elections for city governance.
My problem lie with the hypocritical persons who speak
out for constitutional principles and yet take no stand
on a degraded constitutional republic which spends over
half the citizen's taxes on a welfare state and has to borrow
almost as much to fund the rest of the government.
You can't have it both ways. Either you are for constitutional principles or you are for the socialistic
policies of the welfare state. I find it amusing when
a person on social security and Medicare advocates
constitutional guided governance. In closing I must
say that I did not know that the principles of our
founding fathers extended to confiscation of the
wealth of one citizen to afford comfort to other
citizens.
