GRAND PRAIRIE TX

I don't think that this election is about a choice
between socialism and capitalism. We already have
a form of socialism and it's called a democratic
welfare state. FDR started this type of state with
Social Security. LBJ added to it by implementing the
war on poverty and MEDICARE. George Bush added to
it by signing the Medicare prescription bill. Obamacare
is giving the welfare state a boost by giving the
younger population some of the same socialistic benefits that
old and disabled people enjoy. Persons
on unfunded defined pensions that have failed also
benefit from the welfare state because the government
(read taxpayers) picks up the reduced payments.
Obama did not create this form of socialism that
our nation has, he only expedited the slide into
deeper depths of socialism.
I have already voted for the Republican candidate
hoping that we start to see the entitlement sea start
to recede. How's that for hope and change ?
