Rock'n chair Rambler Over Taxed, TX November 1, 2012 8:20am	"The only FAIR TAX is a flat tax rate ..." You must have been drinking your smart juice this morning, there Grouchie. I agree with you 100%. I do like the idea of drug dealers, pimps and welfare rats paying something back in the form of sales tax, but then, in reality, they already do pay into the State system where it applies. They pay rent and therefore property tax as well. But, all this talk about taxes is pure academic nonsense and political blather. We don't have a taxing problem. We have a SPENDING problem. No taxing system, fair or otherwise will bring in enough revenue to make a dent in Federal spending. That is a fact. And as long as we have people like Puzzled and Alvin voting, the problem will continue.
