Be Careful Floresville, TX November 1, 2012 12:19pm	Follow-up with more worthless statistics:) Based on early voting so far this year, Wilson County may have a higher turned out than in 2008. Let�s compare 2008 vs 2012 to date 2008 there was 26752 registered voters. In 2012, 27,766 registered voters 2008 early votes was 7978 (29.82%) so we would expect 8280 (27766 * 29.82%) early votes Currently there are 7068 early votes and the average voting per day is 785 (1570 for last two days of early voting) in 2012. So, we would expect a total of 8638 in 2012 or 358 more votes than expected using 2008 data. The registered voter turnout in 2008 for Texas was 59.5% and 61.18% for Wilson County. Assuming the percentage holds true for Wilson County we would expect 16, 987 votes (27766 * 61.18%). My prediction is Romney will get at least 12000 votes in Wilson County or approximately 1100 more votes than McCain in 2008. It should also be noted the Final election results from the 2008 presidential election reveal that voter turnout nationally was at the "highest level in 40 years."
