Alvin.....You are right. But without constitutional
amendments mandating the level of spending, future
congresses could change the levels and they would
be prone to pander to voters. It certainly will not
be solved in my lifetime. I may live long enough to
witness the riots when the trillions in unfunded
mandates become due. On second thought, that just may
be excessive expectation. Maybe we will have to fall
off the financial before the populace comes to their
senses.
