Picosa Water Supply Corporation is accepting applications for an Apprentice Operator. Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED and a good driving record. Applicant must possess good listening skills, have the ability to retain knowledge, and be of high moral character. Applicant must be able to obtain a Class D groundwater treatment plant operator license within 6 months and earn credit toward a Class C groundwater treatment plant operator license within 2 years. Under direct supervision applicant will be expected to read meters, replace meters, and repair meter leaks, and perform all other tasks as directed. My favorite scam pulled on the board by Mr Perez was
when he was initially hired. He convinced the board
that since he was receiving health care based on his
retirement and had no heed for health care.
they should increase his salary the amount that they
would have paid for his health care. Not realizing
that the taxpayers already paid for his health care
through their income taxes, the board obliged.
Airborne.....I think he was a finance officer...:)
