LaLa - the debit service to the Civic Center (right now) is $100,000.00. In 2016 the debt service will go up to $1,335,000.00 per year.
This needs to be a top priority of the 4-A board. There is no way now - nor when the bond was refinanced in 2010 that Floresville could make that kind of payment.
FYI - this does not include the land payment the civic center sits (on).
Refinancing does not seem feasible. That can won't kick down the road again. Seeing as we are insolvent or bankrupt.
Selling it is an option. Who would buy it? I have no idea.
