The issue really isnt the financial situation or the competency of Andy Joslin. The actions of the council are the issue. The council has to get its act together. Once they deal with their Jim problem they can fix what they need to fix. As long as they are split - nothing is getting fixed.

Jim needs to apologize. He should do it here in the newspaper, his preferred way of speaking with his colleagues.

Are you going to apologize Jim? Your silence is surely an admission that you realize how stuid it was to post crap about an employee in the paper..... Are you going to be transparent as you promised? Or are you going to be silent for fear of legal action?

Hmmmm Jim. A simple apology sure would be a big step towards fixing things. Id apologize despite attorney advice because thats what men do.
