Untrue Resident
March 5, 2013 4:41pm
There is no proof to any of Joslin's complaints. I guess if you believe in guilty without trial or investigation then Jim is guilty. However, as stated before I find these accusations questionable and lawsuit against Joslin should be considered if they are found out to be false. Again, if you read this blog and if david strozier comment below is actually him then Joslin appears to be telling a falsehood. So, why again is Jim Miller in trouble in your book. I forgot you like Democrats. Maybe Jim should have said I did not have sexual relations with that woman.

Here is what Jim should have said:

I ran for office because of the irregularities in the management of Floresville. I was extremely concerned with the financial stability of the City of Floresville. Since being elected I have asked tough questions of the City Manager as he supposed to be the glue that binds one city council to the next. In addition, the City Council has given the City Manager direction and timelines for him to demonstrate his ability and knowledge of running the city. To date, basic financial questions have not been answered and my concern with the City defaulting on its obligations appears more and more real. These accusations against me are quite disheartening because I ran for this position to make the City of Floresville better and to get away from the negative behavior I felt during the previous administration. Instead of providing reasonable explanations and knowledge of the City Management, the City Manager has taken upon himself to accuse, convict and try me in open chambers. If the City Manager who is a trained police officer and FBI school graduate cannot find a way to come speak with me in a professional manner and adult manner, it further strengthens my believe that Mr Joslin may not be the right man for the job. I look forward to these accusations being investigate as I have been nothing but above board and honestly trying to make the City better without any personal gain on my part. I apologize to the citizens of Floresville because this constant negatively is not good for the City or its residents. However, I will continue to champion the values of fiscal responsibility and ethical behavior no matter what bogus charges are floated for spectacular and nefarious reasons. Thanks for your time and consideration,
