Help Wanted

ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.

Sounds like the song "Oh Danny Boy" is the tune you are singing and the people VOTED out that song in the last election!
Did you conveniently "forgoe" the process of consulting your " plea for help" with the City Council? Who. lest you have forgotten, represent the Floresville residents.
I truly do not care that you used your own funds. According to the Floresville City Charter " The mayor shall be recognized as the head of the city government for all *ceremonial purposes* and by the governor for purposes of military law, but shall have NO regular administrative duties". YOU have overstepped, and stepped into more than you can and should handle. When you ask for "help" especially "monetary help" you then become beholding to that individual or entity. Their agenda can become Floresville's because we OWE them. Mayor how dare you give yourself this unwaranted power!
Floresville can and will get their own affairs in order without being obliged to questionable politicians who you have personal ties to. STOP the CORRUPTION !!
