The City of Falls City is taking applications for the City Clerk position. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, have experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Word and Excel. This is a part time job of thirty hours a week. Salary is negotiable. Applications are available at City Hall located at 208 N. Irvin, Falls City, Texas. Yes, indeed. The Lord works in mysterious ways ... We LOVED the idea of APPLE PIE AND SALSA from the moment Julia proposed it to us. Her columns, along with Lois Wauson's "Rainy Days" provide a "blast from the past" every week. And it's hard to believe that it's already been five years. It seems like only yesterday when Julia mentioned the idea for a column to Kristen and me. Congratulations, Julia Castro, on being a part of the WCN team!!!
