Puzzled....First, it's the business of no one to
know what citizens own guns. Second, why does the
government want this information ? Third, will a
large data base of gun owners make you or I more
safe.
An incident in New York state points out the
danger of gun registration. One person received
a letter from the state directing him to turn in
a firearm. The reason cited was the prescribing of
an anti anxiety medication. It turned out that
someone had mismatched records. Will the state
confiscate all guns in the home if one person may
have taken anti depression drugs. Then maybe we can
expand that to all homes where children are present.
Or maybe we can seize the guns in the household when
grandpa starts to become senile.
If this does not give you any pause, then I assume
that you are living in the bliss of ignorance.
