Prairie, I guess I have lived in the bliss of ignorance, as you call, for 81 years. I grew up poor in the 30's and 40's, survived a hellatious tour of duty in Korea during the early 50's without getting shot, came home and used my GI bill to earn a college degree. I have lived a long, productive, happy life...and I have never worried about the what ifs and maybes that might occur in life. Why does the government want me to register my car? Why does the state require me to have an insurance and brokers license to run my business. There are no good answers to either one of these questions, but I don't lose sleep over it knowing the state if Texas has an inordinate amount of information on me. You and your kind need to quit finding a booger bear under each rock; you need to get a life.
