I moved to San Antonio from Virginia back in June of 81 and started working with Ryder the following month and Joey was the first person who trained me there and as the years went by I can remember nothing but happy postive things about Joey from at work or getting together after work with other coworkers and after so many years I cant recall anything or anybody saying anything negative about the man. There are so many memories of Joey I can recall at work or trying to play softball with him one or two times because I was terrible at the sport but I could play him in basketball with him and Ken Castro. Even though I havent seen Joey in years after leaving Ryder I can still see the smile and hear the laughs from him while in the shop.
And if your up there reading this Joey, I now know what queso is!
