Be Careful.....Again, you use unrelated incidents to
attack my position that it is not the mission of the
military to protect US diplomatic personnel. Iran was a hostage situation.
The Grenada situation resulted from a coup which overthrew the existing democratic government and endangered American citizens. The ambassador most likely died along with
Info officer Smith less than a hour or two after the
terrorist attack and military intervention could not
have prevented their deaths. Where in the hell would
you have dropped the munitions ? If you remember, the
consulate was set ablaze. There were several DS (diplomatic security) personnel stationed at the
consulate. Granted, not enough.
I resent the statement that four Americans were
murdered at Benghazi. These four were killed in combat
against a known enemy. In short, they were killed in
the line of duty and should be afforded the respect they
deserve?
Just curious, are you a disabled vet ? Have you
read the ARB yet ? It's online. You mentioned the
war college I guess to boost your credentials. I think
the this agency is the one who implemented "you have
to win the hearts of the terrorist" which has resulted
in a large number of military death and wounding in the
wars against terrorists.
