And if our military is not used to rescue our State Dept. personnel or any other American being attacked by terrorists when can they be used? The question here is, in view of what was known of the volatile situation in Benghazi and the fact that it was the anniversary of 9-11, why was the security not beefed up? Because Obama had already announced that al Qaeda had died with bin Laden so they could not be responsible. Who was responsible for the draw down of security forces in that area? Then we just ignore the repeated requests for help, tell the military to stand down, go to bed and let 4 Americans die at the hands of terrorists. Then we make up a story about a video being the blame and delete any reference of terrorists from all e-mails.
No one is saying this is the fault of the military, it is certainly the fault of the WH and State Dept. The military can only disperse assets and act or not act as directed by the Commander in Chief, where the buck stops.
