I just did some research on the FISD website. It took some time but I found this out. The next school board election will be in 2014. FISD is set up in single member districts. Districts 3 and 5 will be up for re-election in 2014; Pena and Carrillo. In 2015, Districts 1, 4, and 7; not sure, Choate and Shoemaker. In 2016, Districts 2 and 6; Bippert and Raabe. It will take 3 election cycles to replace all the school board members. You can read all about the current school board and how they should be working on the FISD website. The only thing I could not find out is how many years they each have served. That would help, the longer they serve, the more they feel they own that position.
