Mom OfTwo

After watching this today, I am fearful of my child's education at Floresville ISD. I am a resident of Floresville as well as the parent of a special needs child. I had some knowledge as to what was going on with the special needs department however, I had no idea how nasty this had gotten. Exclusive of the bus barn events, I'm sincerely disappointed in the now former superintendent of FISD as well as our school board who was warned not to bring this man to Floresville. Not only have we lost wonderful teachers and staff but we have also made FISD out to be a joke on a school. Who wants to come work for us now? Teach our children? Mold the future of our nation. I'm also sincerely upset about the bullying tactics that have been used against former and current employees. This is not just "Hunk's" fault, but also the fault of our school board who should have stepped in sooner. They knew what was going on, what they were getting themselves into and they continued to ignore the cries of teachers and parents alike. I hope that when it comes time to re-elect these officials, we all take the time to remember who we want making the decisions for our children's educators, and who we want to represent our FISD community.
