brite eyes,

if you haven't noticed the hotels are NOT full anymore and the RV parks are not full anymore. Everything has vacancies. Not to mention there are a lot more houses for rent here in Floresville. Reason? Karnes County and Atascosa County built housing and encouraged landowners to put houses up. Everyone that lived here, now lives in those two counties (closer to work). The rent in Floresville is quite extreme when the "need" is no longer here. There is a trailer house (1960s model) that is for rent for $1350 a month. THAT IS RIDICULOUS! The trailer has NO AC, broken windows with boards over them, and is falling apart.
It is time to get rent back to what people can afford around here, which is next to nothing!
