Did I miss something? City Council positions including the mayor run for office affiliated with a political party?

Who exactly is the tea party you are talking about and what am I looking for? I thought the tea party wanted a smaller government with less spending. Seems to me the actions of the City Council does not seem to meet those qualifications.

I know one thing I did not vote the current Mayor so I can know it wasn’t me who voted her in.
