Things are in this situation because voters put people in positions in which they are not qualified to handle. Basicly they are voted in by popularity vote instead of having the education and experience to do the job. This town has not changed. Putting unqualified people in leadership positions will get these results. Also, there is no "check and balance" committee to make sure these folks leading the city are doing the RIGHT thing for the city. What needs to happen is, expose these things to the news stations so everyone will know how Floresville really does business. Maybe this type of exposure will prevent future city leadership from just doing whatever they want.
