FACTS has posted his non-sense of Republican Support for Obamacare before and I will provide an official US government site that shows his foolishness again.

FACTS says he knows about legislation then cites an open source reference. It is hilarious and truly sad that he thinks he knows something. He is either ignorant or deliberately presenting false facts. A little research besides Wikipedia would have easily stopped this misinformation for a reasonably thinking person.

To misleading Facts: The original H.R.3590 was called, “Service Members Home Ownership Tax Act of 2009.” http://www.gop.gov/bill/111/1/hr3590. On Oct 08, 2009, the original bill was approved by the US House of Representatives and yes Republicans voted for a housing bill for our service men and women. The bill passed by the House was sent to the Senate.

This House bill became the Senate's health care bill. The bill started off with text regarding an unrelated matter, “Service Members Home Ownership Tax Act of 2009.” but then the Senate co-opted this bill as a vehicle for passage of their reform and changed the text in whole to the health care bill. They do this because the Constitution requires all revenue bills to start in the House, and their health reform plan involves revenue. So they have chosen to work off of a bill that started in the House, even if that bill is unrelated.

The Co-opted HR 3590 was totally re-written by the Senate and called Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and passed Senate with Changes Dec 24, 2009 with bribes to Democrats to pass. The bill was sent back to the house as H.R.3590 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. The vote was a concurrence with the changes that the Senate made. Yes, just an concurrence vote that not one Republican voted for. The bill was passed on Aye or Yea response to ”Motion to Concur in Senate Amendments: H R 3590 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act” on March 21, 2010.

FACTS, please stop posting a lie that Republicans supported Obamacare. This is the second time you have been called on your non-sense. Might I suggest you change your Blog name as your posts are almost always fact-less and when you do present a fact it is wrong.
