ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is never easy to say goodbye to those we love dearly. You have my deepest sympathy and I would like to share some scriptures from the bible that have really helped me in times of great sadness. One is at Isaiah 25:8 and at Revelation 21:1-4 it gives us the promise that in the near future all pain, suffering and even death will be no more." Then in John 5:28 it says: "Do not marvel at this because the hour is coming in which ALL those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." At that time we will have the opportunity to be reunited with our loved ones forever right here on earth, never having to say goodbye again. Psalms 37:29 "Blessed be . . . the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation."--2 Corinthians 1:3, 4.
I hope these words will bring you peace and comfort in the coming days and weeks.
