All need to watch the video once posted.

There has been well over $700.000.00
of Wilson County taxpayer dollars spent on 'soft charges' (the architects' terminology) to date.
At this meeting, a 'letter of intent' from the architect for an additional $18-20,000.00 was submitted for their efforts in a grant submission (not done as of yet ) for up to 85% of $700,000.00 for emergency funding for the Courthouse foundation stabilization (April 2014).
Please look at videos posted by WCN on past Court Meetings and hearings and jot down the different numbers given (or not able to give ) and do your own due diligence.
During the Aug. Budget Workshop (3:30 pm), $500,000.00 is budgeted for a payment for the Certificates of Obligation (prudent decision) in the event that the election passes. However, $2.4 million dollars was transferred from our TexPool Funds (rainy day/reserve funds funded from unspent budgeted tax dollars annually) just in case the election fails. This money is earmarked for the Courthouse (along with the above $500,000.00?). One way or another, you are paying to get the Courthouse worked on. To date, no prints, drawings, sketches, exact numbers, etc. have been released to you, the folks who will be paying for this.
Has anyone ever had repair work on their vehicle or had a home built or an estimate done without getting something tangible in black and white? Maybe this information will be coming forthwith.....and we wait.....
