WC Commissioners Court put out the ballot notice in last weeks paper showing yet another project added (roads) with no additional increase in the dollar amount of the Certificates of Obligation ($8.5 million).
Given that just 'seal coating' a road runs somewhere around $30-35,000.00 per road mile and 'building' a road with 'seal coating' as the finish for around $55-60,000.00 per road mile, how would that happen? How many road miles are planned? What roads are to get worked on? What were the determining factors in choosing those roads? I don't know anyone that wouldn't enjoy their road worked on. Maybe we need to 'pass this thing to see what is in it.'
Maybe that's the point...
