ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.

Wow, these guys want to spend $8.5 million of YOUR tax money and this is all the crowd that would come out on a Tuesday night? It's not like it's a commissioners court meeting on a Monday morning, it was a Tuesday night after dark.

Do you people not realize that if the voters okay this thing, the tax bills of EVERY SINGLE COUNTY TAXPAYER will go up. This isn't just a Floresville thing; it will be EVERYBODY'S problem.

In the video, betwixt badmouthing Jim Miller and Mike Abbott, the judge even said you guys could be paying this thing off for the next 20 YEARS. For some of you reading this, that means the debt that they're trying to back into will outlive you and be passed on to your kids and grandkids.

Take a long hard look at this video, folks. And then, go vote. I don't care how you vote, but you're foolish if you don't vote at all!
