Why does not this age of America not value anonymity? Why the constant need to know the identify of commentators? As if by using one's name it is some great feat. Is an idea good or bad based on the name of the commentator?

Did you know that over 67% of the colonists were opposed to the Revolution against the British empire including myself (Ben Franklin) until articles and debate by anonymous authors changed mine and others opinion.

Do you think if I used my name (Ben Franklin), I would have been as successful or more likely hung?

Please study your history as ignorance of history usually is a sign of ignorance in debate as a generality. Might I suggest you start your study with the Sons of Liberty and their identities as well as reading the Poor Richard's Almanack of the times.. my favorite.
