Help Wanted

CPA office needs seasonal help! Duties to include data entry, clerical and administration functions, office located in Falls City. 830-254-3741 or 830-393-3242.
ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.

Alex.....Did the stunning competence of the democrat
party as evidenced by the progress in the economy
including the job market impress or was it the increase
in food stamps due to the increasing number of people
pushed out of full time jobs. Maybe it was the out-
standing advance in our foreign policy issues. How about
the decrease in real wages for the American worker.
Or it might have been the huge increase in our national
debt. I guess it could have been ACA website launch
which is reflecting the expertise of the Obama
administration. It might even been the skillful lying
and craw fishing. Enjoy your new found home in the
democrat party. I think that Ben said it best.....
Hope makes a fine breakfast but a poor supper.
