Regardless of the stories about losers and winners
in ACA land, the fact remains that the losers are
paying for the winners gains. All insurance by its'
nature is a losing venture for most in any given
pool. Otherwise the insurance firms would not be
able to survive. The ACA increase the costs on those
most likely not to avail themselves (young and healthy)
to lessen the burden on the ones (older and sicker) most
likely to use the benefits. Pure and simple, it
just adds up to generational theft. In regular insurance,
losers are not decided until they leave the pool.
The ACA to a large degree preordains the losers.
