CASA OUTREACH COORDINATOR, FULL-TIME POSITION, provides professional staff support to CASA volunteers to ensure that the best interests of abused children in the foster care system are represented in court. Social services experience required. Responsible for recruiting and facilitating advocate training, making community presentations, and coordinating cases in Wilson and Karnes Counties with Atascosa County (home office). Must demonstrate written and oral communication skills. Must be available to work intermittent evenings/weekends with some travel.  Must pass background checks, have personal car, current TDL, and auto liability insurance. I dislike the Anonymity. There are far too many troll on these boards who live only to post inflammatory remarks and insult others.. and then there are the political trolls who don't live here who monitor the boards to crush and discussion opposite of the political campaign they support. I think if someone's campaign manager is going to post, he should be compelled to disclose that association.

The abuse button is useless unless WCN wants us to click it every time some troll posts something stupid or insulting. IS that the policy? Then the trolls will simply click the abuse button on everyone elses comments and the boards will just shut down.

No. Ending the anonymous postings is really the only way to make people accountable. I don't think people who aren't subscribers should post either. If you have to be a subscriber to read the whole paper, then why not to post?
