According to Damian Balderas, one of the department's three officers, all three officers met late yesterday with Mayor Pro Tem Doug Pruski. During the meeting, Balderas, Chief Larry Davis, and Officer John Jenkins turned in their uniforms and signed severance agreements.

Also, Balderas said the department was asked either to take down its Facebook page or provide the city with its password. The officers opted to terminate the page.

We will continue to follow this story and an article is planned for our Dec. 18 issue.
