The 81st & 218th Judicial District Community Supervision and Corrections Department (Adult Probation) is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). This is a full-time position that will require travel to the following counties: Atascosa, Frio, Karnes, LaSalle, and Wilson. Requirements: Must be licensed as a chemical dependency counselor through the Texas Department of State Health Services. Starting Salary: $33,705 (Associates Degree), $35,705 (Bachelorís Degree), plus State benefits and mileage. Special Election in May. and the Counsel went into executive session for a disciplinary action against the city manager for an unknown reason. 2 voted for firing,two against,and according to the lawyer the mayor couldn't vote because of a specific rule in the charter requiring a majority of the counsel(mayor isn't allowed a vote) to remove a city manager. the lawyer advised her not to even comment on it when she was going to say what she would've voted if she could. We had no idea what the issue was with the city manager. No one spoke about what the issue was.
