As an animal advocate in Wilson County, my personal experience with Dickie Jackson was ridiculous. He told me I had prolonged the suffering of a starved, chained dog in the freezing cold with no shelter or food by bringing these things to the dog after the owner refused to relinquish the dog. None of these yayhoos are even familiar with Texas Penal Code, where animals are concerned, and the violations of it that they allow to perpetuate every day. Pullin may not be an animal advocate but he is CHANGE in this county and it can't come soon enough. Oh, and the dog? After we rescued him anyway, he gained 100 lbs in a year.
