This election proved that registered Republicans are just as lazy researching candidates as their Democratic counterparts. If the voters of WC had bothered to have a conversation with both Richard and Jay the choice would have been clear. As a 31 year old voter one talked down to me and couldn't answer a single, simple fiscal question, while the other talked to me like a man, listened to my concerns and responded thoughtfully and intelligently. Instead it is evident that too many voted on the recommendations of friends and family. In turn we get a judge who has NO clue how to manage the county's growth and maximize existing county resources. Awesome.
