Untrue Resident......A few years ago, Jay Pullin
attempted to form a road district entity that would
have imposed a tax burden on persons living in a
sub-division but not those outside (including Pullin)
the sub-division. His proposal involved a cash
payment which I considered insufficient based on
his potential tax payment burden. In short, he and
others would have made a upfront payment to offset
a larger amount of future taxes. (all heart). At that
time, he had the freedom to pursue the creation of
a road district option that would that would have
taxed all persons in that district. The venture
failed, otherwise I would still be paying taxes.
