Roads will always be what I look for when voting for county officials. I live in Pct 2. We had Rotter for years and the roads weren't maintained at all. Pfeil ran on promises that the roads would be maintained and he has some but they still need work in areas. What gets me the most is how the roads around an oil wells and the ones that lead to the oil wells get maintained and others are left alone. I know that some roads near the oil wells are maintained by the oil companies themselves. I understand the people in town don't care about the rural roads. Why should you?? But we do and we should have some voice. I don't live in the country because of the price of the land. I live here because I want peace and quiet and the land is family land. I don't like the politics that are winning over in Wilson County right now. Things are pushed onto people because of personal agendas. This needs to stop and I hope that the new county judge will not just follow the others and will do what is right by the people of Wilson County.
