If rural residents are not pleased with the road,
provisions exist for a group of residents in the
same area to form a road district, float a bond to
fix and maintain the road by paying extra taxes.
When the county repairs a particular road, others
on bad roads will feel left out and complain. If
you want better road, do it yourselves and stop
complaining. For me, I preferred living on a dirt/gravel
road rather than higher taxes. I now live on
a paved road and have my trash picked up twice a
week. I also pay an average of close to a hundred
dollars a month for that service including water.
You get what you pay for.
