Mr. Miller also was a member of the Floresville Electric Light & Power System (FELPS) board of trustees, and had just left from a board meeting that ended minutes before the crash occurred.

FELPS General Manager Kyle Dicke released this statement, “On behalf of the Floresville Electric Light and Power System family, we are deeply saddened to hear of Trustee Miller’s passing. Mr. Miller had a great impact on the Board of Trustees and he represented the City of La Vernia quite admirably. He will be missed and our thoughts and prayers are with the Miller family.”
