Grouch,

So you're on the government dole all the way around ... living on OPM (Other Peoples Money.) All your (or the majority) of your retirement funds is derived from not for profit entities. Mine is derived from for profit entities (except for Social Security).

As for what I do with my social security checks, I do give most of the money to charities. I faithfully support Samaritan's Purse every month which helps people around the world, not just 'American Christians' as you so gently assumed. I donate heavily to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and many others. As a matter of fact my last years donations were over 3 times as much as the Vice President of the United States who earns (pardon me, receives) $231,900 per year from us.

Have you ever heard of Cal Farleys Ranch for Boys and Girls or VAMOS in Mexico, plus others. I didn't think so.

Unlike you, I haven't wasted my lifetime preparing to take the next step. The next step of death was settled a long time ago between me and my maker. Until then, and it's coming, I will continue to optimistically forge forward and help others when and where I can. Call that whatever you want!
