would have permitted the government to 'not'
spend his SS check amount thereby actually
helping to reduce the debt rather $8.0M paying
on the current rising debt with no reduction
in spending."
Boy, is that fuzzy. The only minute difference
would be the saving of postage. Both amounts would
be applied toward the debt. Bob, there is only
one debt although it is held by both government
agencies and private interests. What were you
thinking ???????
