You know, it takes about as much energy to get in a car and drive down to a school board meeting than to sit here and complain or to run off to KSAT with the latest gossip. All of these people who have something to say about the way things are being run, but none of you have the spine to step up and make yourselves known to the school board. What are you afraid of?

I don't have any eaglets in Floresville ISD. But if I did, the school board would surely know my face and they'd know the sound of my voice by now. I wouldn't be sitting here chewing the fat with you or having a news camera shooting my ankles because I don't want to be identified.

You all had your chance during the last election cycle to seat four new board members. But you all sat on your hands like a bunch of cowards and did nothing. Floresville will not change so long as people remain apathetic and afraid.
