Untrue Resident.....Debts of the departed are
often collected from their estate. Overpayment
to an individual is almost always known, so
the non-notification of the error from a government
agency is a theft from the taxpayers. I wouldn't
worry much about the government taking money from
our children....heck they been doing it for years
to pay our social security.
On rare occasions, one will hear about an
individual who pays all previous debts even though
they have been declared legally invalid. Remember.
legal and moral obligations often differ.
