Danny’ statement, "Founding Fathers were Atheists." is a lie and shows how flawed his thought process is. Danny could have made the argument that the Founding Fathers did not promote a government religion or that they questioned Christianity or God’s role in individual’s lives, but no Danny said they were atheists. The Founding Fathers were Deists which means they believed in GOD, but not necessarily a particular religion. The US was founded on the principal that there is a GOD and the people can worship their own GOD.

Also, if the US was not found on GOD why did the Continental Congress did appoint one or more thanksgiving days each year giving thanks to GOD? As President, on October 3, 1789, George Washington made the following proclamation and created the first Thanksgiving Day designated by the national government of the United States of America: “Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor, and whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee requested me "to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness.” So, Danny you will note that the Founding Fathers believe in GOD.

So, as usual, the person outside the norm uses lies to propagate his delusional view of the world. Just a tidbit of facts for Danny: “Some 90 percent (of Americans) say they believe in God--94 percent if you add those who revere a "universal spirit" --while less than 1 percent call themselves atheists or agnostics.” So, I would say the US is a nation under GOD. Danny believe what you want but don’t act like you have some revelation. You don’t even use good logic or facts
