And what references are there specifically to 700 BC? There's not even any proof that moses existed anyways.

I never said anything about the cult of mithra having similarities to christianity. Merely that its canon mythology is what the story of jesus is stolen from, which it blatantly is, and there's no getting around that no matter HOW you cut it.

There's 10,000 religions out there, and christianity is so divided that you can't possibly expect anyone to think there's any truth in your faith. By the way, my ego isn't blinding me to anything. There's a reason religious faith is also called BLIND FAITH. You're blind to the real truths of the universe. You're blind to the fact that your religion is a lie. You're blind to the fact that when you strip away the details you believe the EXACT SAME THING as over 9,000 other religions. And that just happens to be that invisible yet human looking deities created the world, bless those that follow them, curse those that don't, and sends people to an afterlife of either eternal pleasure or eternal pain based on actions.

It's really an absurd concept. Without the title of a traditional or at least pre-existing religion the expression of such beliefs with a different set of details they would be considered clinically insane. And that's all religion is, a traditionally perpetuated mass delusion, devoid of any solid backing proof. And what has come of this delusion? Nothing more than Ignorance (Denial of scientific facts and discoveries as well as fear of scientific progress), Brutality (Everything from the crusades to abortion clinic bombings), intolerance (Attempts throughout history to deny people their civil rights, including denying people the right to marry based on sexual orientation), and hypocrisy (from constant presence in the canon to the actions of christians in their daily lives).

I feel sorry for you and your inability to accept that your religion is a lie, that everything is finite, and that there is no such thing as a soul.
