Help Wanted

First Baptist Church is looking for a part-time childcare worker for ages 0-4 years, must be 18 years old, have experience with children, and available to work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sundays. Come by the office and pick up an application, 201 S. Crews Street, La Vernia.
Picosa Water Supply Corporation is accepting applications for an Apprentice Operator. Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED and a good driving record. Applicant must possess good listening skills, have the ability to retain knowledge, and be of high moral character. Applicant must be able to obtain a Class D groundwater treatment plant operator license within 6 months and earn credit toward a Class C groundwater treatment plant operator license within 2 years. Under direct supervision applicant will be expected to read meters, replace meters, and repair meter leaks, and perform all other tasks as directed. Jason, I agree with your comment to Amanda: We must be willing to stand up for what we believe. Amanda: you are the only Gospel some people will ever read. BE what you believe. Practice it, speak it, do it. They may never read the Bible to know what Jesus said, but they will KNOW it through his followers!

Danny, I continue to keep you in my prayers, and I am ever thankful we live in a country where we may practice our beliefs, whether we agree with each other or not. It is with that freedom that you have been educated, and continue to educate yourself, and to believe as you wish.
