 		 Danny, what does your statement, "You said you're an engineer, not a biologist" mean? You read a couple of books (or a synopsis of his ideas) from a pro-atheist zoologist, Richard Dawkins and that makes you an expert. Many of Dawkins ideas especially of “memetic theory” are questionable at best. Dick Dawkins says that there is nothing about religion that deserves any respect, and none should be shown to it which you seem to share. So, why would any critical thinker read a book of a religious bigot who lets his personal beliefs cloud his scientific judgment? Do all zoologist agree with Dick? NO!
As for Kent Hovind, until you mentioned him, I never heard of him. I am a critical thinker not ideologue like Mr. Hovind, Dick or you. As for Empirical evidence, magicians depend on empirical evidence to make their tricks work. So, the illusions magicians use appear to be fact and in your world a magic act is a factual science. When pilots fly at high G-levels, they cannot trust their equilibrium as to which way is up. They have to rely on instruments that empirically don’t feel correct.
I noticed you haven't listed any of your qualifications other than you can read or at least partially read. Your regurgitation of other’s idea is evident and weak of original thought or prose. Your arguments are filled with inaccuracies and your logic does not indicate a high degree of sophistication or intellect. As I have stated before and will continue to state, I only respond to you as the poorly written arguments have inaccuracies that could lead others who don’t do research to believe the arguments are valid. Of all the commenter’s on Wilson County News, your ideas are the most incoherent and with extreme elements of fanaticism. So, as long as you spew your hatred and blind rage towards Christians on my hometown paper, I will continue to post and challenge your vile and condescending ranting and ravings. OBTW, I have a Master's in Environmental Science in addition to my Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering. So, I believe I have demonstrated the ability to assimilate knowledge in both the hard and soft sciences as well as provide logical debate in areas beyond my specialty.
