Danny, on what do you base your beliefs? Pride and jealousy are not learned, but innate. Consider this: If all material things could somehow be evenly distributed among the people, pride and jealousy would still be present. How?
If one person is perceived as more attractive than another, there will be pride and jealousy; just as it would be if some people were more popular because of what kind of personality they had. How would you solve that? Think that one all the way through before you answer.
Who would judge the readiness of a person for parenthood? Readiness standards for parenthood vary widely among people. People that you would think unfit, would likely qualify for many others. Intelligence, maturity, abuse, neglect, etc are all relative. One mature adult's discipline is another's abuse.
What would you do to the offspring of people who's birth control failed? Undoubtedly, abort them as they've done in China whom you seem to admire so much. And how would you propose to enforce such strict population control if not for a large and powerful government? If it becomes the people's responsibilty to legislate and enforce, they would become a government unto themselves; which is what we're supposed to have now. Our federal government isn't supposed to have as much power as it does. Through the vices of human nature, people have used politics to acquire more power. This has happened often throughout history. The founding fathers were VERY well educated about the past and used their knowledge to set up the ideal government. Their government was based on the premise that God created all people equal and gave them rights. In your system, there is no equality, but fit and unfit people. You are no different than the people described in "Survival of the Fittest" in the editorial section of this paper.
Just as communist leaders, you would place man in God's place to decide who is worthy of life and who isn't, who deserves material goods and what quantity, and what the moral standards of society should be. Judging by your posts, I doubt you would have advantage in your own system. You would be another common person needing to be controlled by the all knowing and all powerful government.
Karl Marx's experiment hasn't turned out to be as good as some people thought it would, but maybe you should go live in a Communist nation and see for yourself. This nation was established for people who love liberty. You obviously abhor liberty.
This system isn't perfect, but if you're looking for perfection on this side of Heaven, you will always be disappointed. You need to read up on your history and stop spreading ideas that are based on ignorance as fact. If you can't take the freedom, get out of America!
Last, don't confuse God with religion. While religion is often centered around a deity, it doesn't have to be. Webster's collegiate dictionary defines religion as: a cause, principal, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith. You have a religion all your own in which you are your own god albeit a natural (instead of supernatural) one. Yet another man creates a religion? Bet you wouldn't think it was yourself, right?
If you put your faith in the innate goodness of human nature, you will be disappointed. Even highly intelligent, mature people do evil things with the best intentions.
