Bubba, please forgive me if offended you. I was simply responding to your statement about the KJV of the bible.

"I believe that God preserved his word in only one version, The King James Bible."

Perhaps if you explained exactly what you meant so I could better understand your statement, because I have met people who do believe that the KJV is the only legitimate english translation, which I believe is a false statement. The scholars that we have today are just as capable as the 50+ scholars that translated the KJV in 1611.

Bubba, I think it is great that your daughter can read old english and I would think that most of us could, but why do we need to when there are good reliable translations available in modern english.

Bubba, I hope you don't think I am personally attacking you, because that is not my purpose. I responded the way I did, only because, too many people take a statement like that at face value and really don't investigate any further.

Mike, if you want to know if a person is true or false find out what their motive is for doing what they do. There is a world of difference between a Creflo Dollar(tele evangalists) and a Hudson Taylor(missionary to China 19c).
